A day “all about truffle”
Meet up with your guide over a drink at the estate. Your truffle discovery day will begins with one of the dog and his master: they will show you how to dig out truffles from the ground. Back at the wine estate to enjoy truffle buttered toasts together with our wines.
You will enjoy a Lunch «Menu Truffe de Marie-Laure» : starter, main course, cheese and dessert served with our wines, with tea or coffee. End the tour with a visit of the winery with wine tasting.
Guided visit of the Castle of Grignan
In the heart of the Drôme Provençale, dominating plains and mountains, the Grignan Castle is built on a rocky headland overlooking the village. A witness of the French Renaissance architecture and classicism, the edifice has had an eventful history. The Grignan Castle, which became a Listed Building in 1993 and received the Musée de France label, accounts of the art of living at different periods.

This morning, you will drive south to the quaint village of Uzès.
Uzès market
Since the 13th century, the Place aux Herbes has been the epicenter of Uzès markets. Every Wednesday and Saturday, amateurs and tourists flock there, attracted by the quality of the local products and the friendly atmosphere. Asparagus from Uzège, gariguettes, organic eggs, pélardons, winegrowers…a lot of choice for every taste!
Lunch suggestion: Auberge de Tavel. In a historic, atypical place in the center of the village, the chef offers authentic cuisine with a touch of Provence.
Tavel wine tasting and visit of the vineyards
Come, browse the vineyards on foot, and follow the passionate explanations of your guide who will transmit the values of the wine estate, enlighten you on the application of the principles of organic farming and deliver the details of the work in the vineyard.
Your guide will take you to the Plateau de Vallongue to enjoy the view of the vineyards of Cru de Tavel, the village and the surrounding reliefs.
The loop ends with the historic village of Tavel, its wash, its fountain where you can cool off.
After a walk of about 3km, you will end with a tasting at the wine estate, several vintages produced from the vineyards visited: the rosé wines of Tavel in particular.
You will reach your hotel in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence at the end of the day.

This morning, you will drive to the Beaujolais region at the North of Lyon.
Olive oil tasting at the Old Mill
The mill has been standing at the heart of the Baux-de-Provence valley since 1685, and is one of the biggest mills in France. The character of the olive oils produced in Baux-de-Provence valley is thanks to the blend of 5 varieties of olives that grow on this unique terroir: Salonenque, Grossane, Béruguette also known as Aglandau, Verdale des Bouches du Rhône and Picholine. Try their special 'fruité noir' (black fruity) olive oil that is mild, with aromas of black olive, cocoa, and sourdough bread!
After your tasting, enjoy some free time in Les Baux-de-Provence. With its 22 architectural treasures classified as "Historic Monuments" (including the church, chateau, town hall, hospital, chapels, houses, doorways etc). This car-free village has plenty of ancient houses that were carefully restored, beautiful Renaissance facades and several magnificent "hotels particuliers”.
Take the opportunity to visit the monumental Carrières de Lumières (Quarries of Lights) host extraordinary multimedia shows, which are unique in the world.

On the footsteps of Van Gogh
On the way to Arles, discover the sites painted by Van Gogh. Enjoy a walking tour in the city, to discover its heritage and the various sites painted by Vincent Van Gogh during his stay in Arles such as "The Night Café" and "The Garden of the Health Home”. Take a photo stop at the Pont Langlois, also called the Van Gogh's bridge! Then you will visit Van Gogh's recreated bedroom in Saint Paul de Mausole, the hospital where he stayed.

This morning, you will drive to Aix-en-Provence.

After a short 10-minute drive and crossing the 17th century bridge named “Pont des 3 Sautets” painted by Cezanne, you will arrive at the 12-acre Provençal property. Once you have discovered the house and the organic vegetable garden, you will start the cooking session, during which you will all actively participate for the preparation of various recipes. Your host will share with you the cooking skills and knowledge he has developed over the years as a French family home cook. After approximately 2 hours of cooking, you will be ready to share your culinary works of art in the most “convivial” local way. In the course of the day you will also certainly have time to take a walk in the wild provencal Garrigue filled with aromatic herbs.
Later in the afternoon, back to Aix en Provence through the scenic Montaiguet Forest.
