Continuation of the visit to the heart of Old Lyon and its traboules, Saint-Jean Cathedral, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, the peninsula takes you to its emblematic squares, the “Fresque des Lyonnais”: a global overview to fully understand the city, its specificities and its 2000 years of history.

Between Isère and Rhône, the territory of Vienne Condrieu is marked by its history: vines cultivated for millennia, a piece of Roman wall hidden between two buildings, a cathedral which stands proudly on the banks of the Rhône river... stories and old stones, don't go your way!

Located at the foot of the Hermitage vineyard, the Cave de Tain is one of the main wine producers in the Rhône Valley producing 5 grands crus: Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Saint-Péray. The cooperative cellar of Tain invites you to discover its production cellar during a guided tour. From the reception of the grapes to the vinotheque through the vat room and the aging and selection cellar.

Departure for a guided walking tour of the village of Vogüé, pearl of southern Vivarais, medieval jewel classified as a Village of Character and Most Beautiful Villages in France. Huge and protective, with its four corner towers, the castle built in the 11th century overlooks the houses of the village.

Discovery of the Gorges de l'Ardèche and its famous Pont d'Arc, a 54m high natural arch dug by the Ardèche river in a limestone plateau, opening onto the road to the Gorges and its succession of belvederes plunging into a vertiginous canyon of about thirty kilometers

Dinner and accommodation.

Departure towards Romans-sur-Isère, a city with a reputation for working leather and shoes. Free visit of the International Shoe Museum, located in an exceptional setting: the former Convent of the Visitation. Guided tour of the Maison de la Pogne followed by a tasting. The oldest bakery in the city opens its doors to you and lets you discover its manufacturing secrets.

Continuation to Hauterives and free visit of Postman Cheval's Ideal Palace, built in 33 years, with stones collected during his rounds, by postman Ferdinand Cheval who wanted to build alone in his vegetable garden a dream palace inspired by the postcards and magazines he distributed. Stop at Saint-Michel-sur-Savasse en route for a guided tour of the Rognin Oil Mill.

Road towards Avignon. Panoramic and pedestrian guided tour of the Papal city. Discovery of its circular ramparts over 5 km long, crossing the Rhône to reach Villeneuve-lès-Avignon and enjoy an exceptional panorama of the papal city. Continuation towards the historic center, discovery of the Place de l'Horloge with its magnificent theater and its town hall, the Place du Palais dominated by the majestic Palais des Papes and its gardens of the Rocher des Doms for a breathtaking view of the Rhône and the Pont from Avignon.

Afternoon dedicated to the visit of the Palace of the Popes and the Pont d'Avignon. The monumental 14th century residence of the sovereign pontiffs is the most important Gothic palace in the world.
